Today I was at the ILMO-ARBC Spring Conference in Silvis, IL.  It is always good to fellowship with other brothers in the state and enjoy their fellowship.

Bernie Augsburger, our state rep, spoke on how to hold Evangelistic Home Bible Studies.  I plan to invite him to come to our church and speak on evangelism.  As I listened today I was challenged and had to ask myself how evangelistic are we as a church?  Here are some thought provoking questions:

• When did you last share the gospel with someone?
• Is there anyone you are currently working with to see get saved?
• In what evangelistic efforts are you participating?
• Are you open to trying new ways to reach the lost?

A question we all need to ask ourselves is this: what have I done to help FVBC grow in the last year?  Are you willing to do what it takes to reach the lost?  D. L. Moody made it a gowl to share the gospel at least once a day.  Maybe start small, how about once a week?
