Pastor Phil Zilinski has been pastor of Fox Valley Baptist Church since 1996.

 

Pastor Phil grew up in the Carpentersville / Dundee area and came to know Jesus as Savior at Fox Valley Baptist Church at the age of
13. Pastor Phil attended Clarks Summit University (formerly Baptist Bible College of PA). He met his wife Tammy there and the two of them married in 1986.

Pastor Phil loves being pastor of FVBC but also serves in other capacities in the community. He is a Chaplain for the Carpentersville Police Department and part time chaplain at Advocate Sherman
Hospital. He and his wife Tammy also are active in prison ministry and lead a group from the church to serve at the Louisiana State Penitentiary annually.

 

He and his wife have five grown children. Four of them were adopted out of foster care. When not busy at the church Pastor Phil loves camping, traveling and is an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
