What to Expect
When you visit our church, expect to find our focus on Jesus Christ. Everything we do is motivated by the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ. Expect to find a group of people who have experienced His love and forgiveness and would find it a delight to share that with you.
When our church gathers on Sunday morning we pray, sing, read the Bible, give offerings, and share testimonies about God’s work in our lives. We have a blended worship service. Some of the songs we sing are new, some are the great hymns that Christians have sung for many years. Everything in our service points to God’s Word and His work in our lives. Our pastor’s sermon is the centerpiece of the service. The sermon will teach biblical truth and give relevant application for today.
Bring your Bible — You’ll want it! If you don’t have one, ask an usher or a regular attender. We have Bibles you can use. Every age group studies through the Bible. Pastor Zilinski preaches from the New King James Version, the same translation we use in our children’s ministries and for memorization. Our teachers often use other good translations such as the New American Standard Version, English Standard Version, and King James Version. And if you need a good Bible to read at home, contact the church office, we would be more than happy to provide you with a Bible.
Find a friend — You’ll connect with believers who are committing their lives to Jesus Christ. Our church looks a lot like our neighborhood: Young, old, single, married, and from many parts of the world.
If you have children — You’ll find safe and secure facilities, a caring staff, and a meaningful and enjoyable learning opportunity for children of all ages.
Dress comfortably — We don’t have an official church dress code. On Sunday you’ll see most our folks dress casually. For our weekly events with children and teens, everyone dresses for fun activities, usually jeans or shorts.
